My name is Sarah Mikhailova, I have been in the profession since 2018. I love and work in the fusion, Scandinavian, modern classics style.
I studied at the IDS London Moscow International School of Design, Anna Erman’s interior design course, and Julia Chebotar’s school.

There are two portraits of the customer — the owners want to rent the property to one or two students for 9 months and rent the rest of the time by the day.
I divided the free layout of the apartment with wet zones into a bedroom and a kitchen-living room.
At the bedroom, I also allocated another dressing room, more precisely, she herself structurally stood out and formed a cargo closet.
There is a lot of light and color in the apartment!
Everything is accentuated here, to attract attention and desire to book.
On a neutral background of walls and concrete ceiling, accents look appropriate and complement the interior.
In the decoration, I used durable and high-quality finishing materials that will last a long time: porcelain stoneware for an English Christmas tree, high-quality paint that can be washed.

This apartment in new Moscow is distinguished by bright and functional solutions. Due to the competent zoning and successful initial layout (there are two risers in the apartment, which made it possible to place the kitchen and bathroom at a distance from each other), there was a place for a bedroom, a living room with a work area, a spacious hallway and storage systems, a children’s room, a dressing room and a laundry room.
Despite the bright contrasting solutions — black, berry, dark and light wood — the whole space looks solid.
This happened because I duplicated the colors in different areas of the apartment. Berry begins in the hallway and continues in the living area and bedroom. Gray from the hallway goes into the nursery and bathroom.

Customers wanted to get a bright and ergonomic interior with elements of modern classics.
To be honest, they set a difficult task — to provide in this small apartment the functionality of a two-room apartment with a full bedroom and a living room.
The planning solution and carefully thought-out style made it possible to make the interior cozy, and not cramped.
I chose a classic light beige shade as the main color of the interior.
Customers wanted to get a bright and ergonomic interior with elements of modern classics.
To be honest, they set a difficult task — to provide in this small apartment the functionality of a two-room apartment with a full bedroom and a living room.

The project is for a couple with two weather children who have "grown up" from their renovation and are ready to make the apartment more modern.

Customers are used to them, they are constantly being asked. Moreover, the higher the photographic accuracy, the better.
This project was created from collages that I prepared for customers. They basically didn’t want to wait for visualizations and pay for them.
In my practice, I use such collages for preliminary approval of the project.
Then visualizations are made, the customer "layers" the emotions received from the moodboards onto the overall picture.

A young girl is planning to live in this apartment. The interior is filled with elegance and mood! Despite the fact that the interior does not have a specific stylistic direction, classical notes and Scandinavian style are clearly read here.
After the redevelopment, the old Khrushchev turned into a spacious apartment with two dressing rooms, a cozy bedroom, a chillout area on the balcony, a kitchen with an ideal filling for the customer.

The customer already had a project from the designer and even started construction, but at some point it was decided to demolish everything and change the designer!
The client wanted something more pleasant and unusual.
The task was not easy: separate beds for an adult and a child, a play area and a workplace for a girl, a living room and a kitchen, storage and a bathroom!!!

The project of the house with a total area of 625 m²
A three-storey house for a family with four children, where there was a place for everyone.
In this house, I have created the most comfortable environment for all family members: while the children are playing in their rooms, parents can relax in the living room.
A whole floor with a separate entrance has been allocated for the father of the family, taking into account his hobby.
The style chosen by the customers is based on classical elements — stucco, ceiling cornices, floor skirting boards.
To dilute them and make the space more functional, we added modern details and chose an "out of time" finish — wall painting, porcelain stoneware with a natural stone print and an engineering board.

The interior is designed in a modern aesthetic and is designed in a single scale, where there are inclusions of mustard, but cream is in the lead.

A young girl of 40 years old, she was very lucky to become the owner of an apartment located in the city center on the river bank. Probably, one can only imagine her excitement, because it is not so easy to create a cozy atmosphere designed for many years.

I preferred an eclectic interior. I am glad that the customer was not afraid to mix details and motifs of different styles, so I have clear geometric lines, openwork decor, emphasized ceremonial elements, and laconic pieces of furniture according to individual sketches in my design.

Buying an apartment with a finished finish is often perceived as a way to save on designer services: it would seem, why involve a specialist if the walls and ceilings are painted, the wiring is divorced, and the bathroom is already tiled?
In fact, even a typical repair can be seriously improved if you trust the designer. The Cinderella project in the Lyubertsy Park residential Complex is an example of such a transformation:

A country house for a family in a neutral modern design.
The customer’s family consists of a married couple, the customer’s parents and two children of different sexes, therefore, when developing a planning solution, I combined the kitchen area with a nearby room, received a spacious living room. The kitchen set was located in the wet area along the window, the living room area was separated from the kitchen area by a large dining table.
My task was to make 6 rooms: 2 children’s rooms, a master bedroom, a parents' room, a recreation area and a living room with a kitchen.
At the same time, they wanted to allocate space in the bedroom for a separate dressing room.
But after analyzing several options, we came to the conclusion that the most advantageous option would be a large roomy and beautiful wardrobe in each room.
The customer’s wish was a very light airy interior in powdery shades.
The floor should be light throughout the house.
The walls are also predominantly light and of the same shade. We use golden, black elements in the metal color of the furniture, which emphasizes sophistication.
The other shades in the interior are neutral warm, gray—beige and a little powdery pink as accents.

The project was created for a young couple without children. The guys work remotely, so there are two workplaces in this apartment so that both of them can work comfortably.
The customers wanted a large number of storage spaces to be provided in the interior and for each room of the apartment to be functional.
The customers asked to highlight each room in a separate color. Therefore, I decided to design the whole project in warm shades, taking Scandinavian white, peach and pistachio as a basis.

I designed this apartment in the residential complex "Kutuzov Grad" for rent.
The customer wanted to get a modern, versatile and concise interior that would appeal to most potential tenants, at minimal cost and in a short time.
On a small area of 29 m2, I managed to place all the functional areas necessary for life: kitchen-dining room, living room-bedroom, hallway, bathroom, and also provide a workplace.
The main components of the interior of this small studio are thoughtful built—in storage systems, functionality, simplicity and clarity of layout, neutral color scheme.

I have developed a design for a small apartment owned by a businesswoman. The interior was supposed to emphasize the intelligence and confidence of the landlady, while maintaining tenderness and grace.
Everything is as functional as possible here. Miniature entrance hall, jewelry-inscribed dressing room.
Nothing superfluous, everything is hidden from the prying eye as much as possible. Light tones visually expand the space, fill it with air.
The most unusual thing in the project is, perhaps, the kitchen, directly connected to the hallway: there are only transparent partitions between them.
Everything, it would seem, is simple. Very restrained. No extravagance, provocation, challenge. At the same time, the entire interior is light.

The new showroom of the company for the production of doors, skirting boards of flush mounting. I have created a unique space and a trendy design concept for this commercial space.
Everything is thought out here, and organized for the exhibition of samples of doors, canvases and accessories.
Visually focused on the exhibition samples using beautiful columns and mounting doors into the space.
The walls were specially painted in light shades, and used them as a canvas for the "bright spots" of door samples.
On the floor in one of the rooms I used quartz vinyl of a warm shade of increased wear resistance.
In the main area of the dismantling area, the floors are painted concrete and from the main stand there is a special navigation to the columns with doors, clear and simple for visitors.
I scattered lamps around the perimeter to evenly illuminate the samples of doors and fittings presented in this area.

I have worked out the stand itself as clearly as possible: a demonstration of all materials, technical capabilities of the manufacturer.
She also put a philosophical meaning into each exhibit, while creating a performance at the stand.

The owners of this apartment are a married couple without children. They have a dog and one of the wishes of the family was to make a beautiful and vandal-proof apartment.
In order to fulfill the wishes of the owners in terms of the number of rooms and, most importantly, storage areas, redevelopment was needed.

After the redevelopment, a two-bedroom apartment with two dressing rooms and a workplace turned out.
Since the number of windows allowed, I made rooms with natural light.

I like to use bright colors and experiment with contrasting combinations. I think that even small spaces are great for such solutions. In this small studio, saturated shades are not at all cramped!
On the contrary, juicy summer tones, the colors of flamingos, sky and strawberries, create an atmosphere of warmth and joy.
In a small area, it was necessary to create an organic and ergonomic space with main and additional sleeping places, work and dining areas, and arrange a sufficient number of storage spaces.

We thought for a long time about the overall color of the walls, as a result we settled on olive color of different tones, as if "stretching by color".
